- First things first, I love to bike, as an amature. I’m not rich, so i definatly like the price. I bought this for my 5 yr old so i can take her with me on longer rides. Her school is 1.5 miles from my house, i pick her up in the bike trailer after my drive home from work, it’s very nice weather permitting. She’s taller than the top of the stroller but could still fit comfortably, the entire top piece is velcro’ed, so it was easiy to loosen it up the 2 inches that she needed. but it’s done in a way that she couldn’t escape from the inside.it breaks down really well, easily hid behind a sofa, or tossed in a trunk of a car for a trip to a park or beach.speaking of breaks, they are terrible. the braking system i got is not the one in the photos, but i assume was an “upgrade”. the brake cable goes into a Y splitter and is attached to bars that are levered aginst the back wheels, causing unnessicery wear. the “instructions” were for the type in the pictures. this set up can not be easily detached so storage is hampered and i’d have to leave the handle on even if i were using it as a bike trailer. I like the stream line look with out the jogging handle.but since breaks on jogging strollers are more for smaller women than 270 lb men, i just stripped it all off.the entire trailer fits together like virgin legos, tight and the parts have to line up perfectly, expect to spend a few seconds fiddling around with the pin trying to get it in the holes; except the front wheel, which is a hand screw with plastic knob, it wobbles pretty well.the trailer is attached to your bike with a large heavy duty spring. the addition of a nylon strap seams to indicated the manufactures acknowledgement that this could be a bad thing to fail. It’s a $100 bike trailer, so i agree that it’s the best way for that cheep. I’m comfortable trusting my daughter in it and i’m fairly rough on my bikes.Road test of the trailer on a below 50F day was the child was warm, i was sweating, and the trailer worked well. It pulled straight, turned easy, and stopped when i needed it to. I use it every day in some capacity, even to take trash to the dumpster or bring groceries in from the car. I love things that are helpful.Summary. if your a ridgid up tight *hole, Then go buy a $700 trailer / jogger system that is just as well put together. I’m looing in to buying the Aosoms cargo model.Update 4/30/12: I love updates, Makes it seem people actually care. I do, i still love this trailer, great for moving large boxes to the dumpster, groceries from the store or car, kids, etc. I reciently upgraded the bike to a electric and this trailer does fine at 20 mph.
